11,198 steps yesterday. Most of it is done in the evening, I get up and walk whenever a commercial comes on TV.Durning the day, daily chores account for a lot of steps.  Also getting up to speed for the 5K I will walk with DD & new spouse & DGD after their wedding next month.

I go to the gym in the evenings for my workouts, but during the day there is a lot of walking in my office. We are located on two different floors of the same building. Maybe I should start counting as well.

That is true. When I'm at site, I have to walk up & down anywhere between 7-15 floors. Each floor has about 18 steps but that is a lot of effort & calories burnt than the number of steps.

We're not working till Tuesday and the zoomba classes are also shut. I went for a walk in the park this morning. Today I could do it, tomorrow I don't know.

Went to the boat club yesterday and did some actual rowing. The gym workouts do help but nothing like the real thing as my hands can tell you.

I've also had a long break from working out due to the Diwali holidays and the merrymaking that accompanies it. My clothes have also become slightly tighter. I better get serious and get on to the cycle and the treadmill.

Diwali is a costly affair, control wise. Food is the worst affected. We go meet so many people and as per custom, everyone serves some or the other sweets.

I went to zoomba class last evening after so many days. Managed it, but there was a tightness in some of the muscles.
