5233 steps yesterday.  My back was giving me a little bit of a problem and sometimes it helps to lay down for about 10-15 min so I did, and then woke up two hours later !  I didn't really expect that but I guess I needed it.  I sleep pretty well and get 7-8 hours a night so I don't nap very often but I guess sometimes it just feels good.

I had every intention of using my Fitbit One and I even plugged it into the charger overnight.  Alas, I faced two mountains of laundry that kept calling my name, so I totally forgot to put fitbit in my pocket.  I'm a little disappointed with myself as I also forgot to put my phone in my pocket, so I could get 'stepz' to keep track for me.  Sigh.........maybe today I can do better.

Wally - I have a new computer and it has 4 USB ports for charging on the top.  Two are labeled 2.0 and two are labeled 3.0.  Overnight I plugged in my iphone 5S for charging into the 3.0 USB.  It only charged about 30%, so clearly I did something wrong.  Any ideas?

It doesn't matter which USB port you use, they both work the same for charging.  They only work when the computer is on.  Do you leave your computer on all night ?

I don't know if my husband left it on or not.  Apparently he did because it was on this morning when I got up.  He was still up when I went to bed last night.  These charging ports maybe are not working so well.  I plugged my phone into an external charging device which then charged the phone 100% in a matter of 30 minutes.

10,543 steps yesterday. Again not planned. Still some sleep issues and up a good 2 hours earlier than "normal" and still find myself randomly pacing the house. It adds up, but I have to be wary of my knees and back.

If the computer is in Sleep mode, even if on, it will stop charging. Your electric points are the best source to charge your phones. If your computer is also being charged and you're using it, then it's a different story.

5754 steps yesterday.  I started to have some pain in my knee for the first time since the injection so I took it easy for the rest of the day.  I'm not sure what that is about but I didn't expect it.  Seems OK this morning so will see how it goes.

5810 steps yesterday.  I spent a lot of time watching the parade and then friends came by and visited for a while.  Kind of cut into my walking time.  I'm not sure about my knee.  it gives me some problems from time to time.  I hope it is not going to continue.  My Orthopedic doctor is kind of pushing me for a knee replacement but I am not sure that is what I want to do.

7872 steps yesterday.  I guess my knee is OK.  It seems that it doesn't like not moving for long periods and once I get moving it gets much better.  I ha no problem yesterday so that is a good sign.
Doing good Barbara.  More time does seem to equal more steps, as long as the joints are OK.  I'm looking forward to longer and warmer days.

10,805 steps yesterday.

I'm not actively trying to get to 10,000 at all. The extra hours I am up help, plus I feel like a weight has been lifted in some way. Between all the medical carp nd then Boo being sick, I was just exhausted all the time. I do have the liver stuff looming but somehow that doesn't scare me at this point. So I just walk and am surprised each day by the step count.

So far knees and back are doing fine...

bigskygal - I think the holidays are stressful enough without dealing with extra evens like losing your furry kid.  I hope things go better for you and you do feel better.  Perhaps at some point in the future, you will choose to share your life with a new furry friend or not.
