Wally, I think it is the same, yours is just not "updated". That sounds like what mine used to look like. Now it says Today on the very top, then an ad band, below that it says Steps below that the count for the day. Below that are dots to scroll through all the other counts, distance, calories, etc. the very last one lists Stairs Climbed but no counts there. Next is the bar display for each hour and just above the bars are letters to display counts for year, month, week, day, and hour. A very annoying thing that now happens is periodically a full page ad will pop up full screen which I have to close.

I have to poke around to see how to activate the sta it counter.  Maybe it is for the paid version?

Edit to add the pop up ads on the updated Stepz app are even more egregious as they are audio also... this may make me find a new step counting app. I can deal with a learning curve, but an ad assault no way!

8526 steps yesterday.  Dentist appointment today so I will be spending some time in the chair but it is only for a checkup so maybe not too long.
Barbara, I don't remember if I have the paid for app but probably because I have no ads.  I just looked on the app store and there are more than one apps named stepz to make it even more confusing.

8486 steps yesterday.  Dentist appointment wasn't too bad.  I do have an old filling that is failing and needs to be replaced so I get to go back next week.
I think we do have different versions of the stepz app Barbara.  From what you describe mine looks different.  Like I said I think I must have the paid version because there are never ads.

I also use the Stepz app and there are never any ads with mine either.  However I don't remember paying for it either, but I might have.  I write my passwords down in a small notebook to help me remember them.

I use a password manager built in to my Norton security suite and that way I can have a different password for everything.  I also keep a record of all of my passwords on a flash drive as a backup that I can update or view anytime but it is not on my computer.

I too have ads on my Stepz app now. This was not so some months ago. I have always been using the free app, so I guess it's the update of the app that has caused it.

10,044 steps yesterday.  Kind of nice to get over the 10K mark for a change.  I am hoping to keep that up more often.
Interesting that some have started to see ads on the stepz app.  I guess if an update comes I will not install it.  I don't have automatic updates enabled because I would like to have more control.  I can look over any available updates and choose what I want to install.

That's all I did yesterday. I think I'm going to alternate aerobic / anaerobic for want of time.
