Hi everyone,
For about 10-12 days, I've not done anything.
Give me another couple of days, and I'll be back and posting here.

Weekends I can do my walks and I really enjoy that time. Because of the rains and the weather, the breeze was much cooler and it was an enjoyable experience.

Yes you are back in the groove Barb, glad you are feeling better.
My total steps for last week, 9/19 to 9/25 was 74,056 so I was able to make my average.  Had one day at only 8500 steps but a good Saturday.

9385 steps yesterday.  I blame my cat!!  ;)  He is so matted up he is really uncomfortable I felt  sorry for him.  I can't get him into the vet until the 4th of Oct as he needs to be sedated to be shaved.  Yeah, he's a wild one! I can show you the scars!  He's getting his first lion cut.

He usually mats up in the Spring, but didn't this year.  He's an indoor kitty so the shave won't make him too cold in the Winter.

LOL  :D  Poor cat has to take the blame and can't dispute it !
still a respectable step count !

I am going to start the next Fitbit challenge tomorrow along the NYC marathon route.  It is only 8000 steps and should easily be only part of one day.  Second one is 24,000 steps and I am going to try and do it in two days but the key word here is try.  Third one is the full 26.2 mile marathon course at 57,000 steps so it may be possible for me to do it in 5 days, just have to wait and see.

Starting my next Fitbit "adventure" which is a 5k along the NYC Marathon route.  Only 8000 steps total so should be no problem for one day.  Starting at the United Nations Building and following the route through the city.  These are not like a Virtual Reality where you would have a video like you were actually seeing what you would see if you were there.  Rather there is an Aerial photograph showing the route drawn on the photo.  Even at highest magnification the view is still pretty high.  Along the way at several spots there are panoramic photos so you can get a nice view of the area.  Not like being there but still not bad for getting an idea of how it would be in person.  It does add a bit to a daily walk.
