And I'm keeping myself off my workout routines till I get these kidney stones business sorted out. I wish they were diamonds and we could keep them.

Yesterday was day 4 of the NYC marathon challenge and I managed 11,474 steps.  That leaves only 10,344 steps to the finish.
That sly sneaky old wind was having fun with me yesterday.  Every     time  I looked outside and it looked mostly calm, no movement in the trees, I went outside and as soon as I did I could hear it coming.  Wham, 25-30 MPH wind.  EVERY TIME !
It's going to be windy today also so I just may do a lot of my walking indoors.
@SKB, yeah, I don't blame you at all.  Get the kidney stone business over first.

Met the urologist yesterday. The bigger stone is pretty big to be pulverised by shockwave and it is wedged in the pelvic junction so it will have to be a keyhole laser surgery & extraction. Thinking of scheduling it next week. Funny thing is that I am completely asymptomatic. I asked the urologist to explain why only the right kidney had stones while the left was completely clear. He had no answer. If any of you have that answer please let me know. I'm curious.

That didn't stop me from doing my complete workout today. I'll avoid running though as I don't want any of my stony friends moving.

skb, I liked the fact that you could exercise even in the your condition. I know that kidney stones can be very painful but you can exercise is a surprise. But do get this sorted out and be healthy and fine again. Best wishes for that.

I did my zoomba on Monday & immediately noticed a drop in the fasting number.

Well, I managed to finish the Fitbit NYC Marathon challenge yesterday on schedule.  I needed 10,400 steps and just made it with 10,669.  For the 5 days averaging just over 11,400 steps a day.  It doesn't seem like much over my 10K daily goal but my old legs feel it.  I think I am going to take it easy for a couple of days.   :D
The challenge was fun and interesting but all of the pictures along the way were taken at an actual marathon from the course like you were a contestant.  As a result mostly what you saw was the runners and the crowd from a runners view.  Because of that almost all of the scenery looked the same.  Kind of a disappointment after the Yosemite  National Park challenge with stunning scenery.  Anyway it will be interesting to see what they come up with next.

High 5 !!! Wally & bigskygal. I've been very regular and determined with my exercise as well. Not only have I increased the time, I also increased intensity and difficulty. Feels good.

Yup. Now that I know about the stones, I've stopped running but I'm doing everything else. Funny part is I have absolutely no pain or any other symptoms. I've decided to delay the surgery by about 15 days We will take it up after Diwali which is at the end of this month.

Today I woke up with a neck sprain. Looks like I pulled a muscle yesterday. So I'm going to be skipping the gym for today.

10,208 steps yesterday.

Spent a lot of time texting my DD yesterday to make plans for her wedding next month.  Found out they are doing a 5K walk the day after so I am going to join them.  :)
