9,926 steps yesterday.

Flying to CA tomorrow.  From here to Seattle, several hours layover then to Oakland arriving around 5:30 pm.  Long day!

T-2 dx 2/2012 FBG 243 A1c 9.5%   A1c 6/12  5.7%.  A1c 4% 7/13 to 12/16.
12-16  5.1%.  6/18 5.3%.  6/19  5.7%.  6/20 5.7%.  7/21 5.2%.  8/22 5.5%. 7/23 6%. 7/24 6.8%.
Off meds 3/15, diet controlled.  Minimal exercise.

Past couple of days I've been avoiding aerobic exercise. Concentrating more on weights and other resistance drills.
I've been pondering if one is better than the other for BG results. I see no change though. Does someone know for sure if one is better than the other ?

We've discussed this extensively at other forums, and here's my ~2cnt~ on the subject.

Though each body responds to various stimuli in it's own unique way, I've found this is what works for me.

If I have eaten a little something prior to say 3/4 of an hour of any physical activity aerobic exercise is helpful in bringing down the numbers. This is because the food calories have been partitioned and are available for immediate muscle uptake. If excess calories are required the liver will ever so willingly contribute and that is a good thing.

If I workout or do anything physical on an empty stomach, my liver tends to dump glycogen and that process doesn't stop till much after. As a result I find myself going higher. In such situations anaerobic (resistance) exercise tends to drop my numbers.

16,479 steps yesterday!

It rained most of the 5K walk in Berkeley, CA  on Sunday (which was supposed to be a run) and then poured after.  Lots of walking in the airports on the way home.  I think that is what kept my bg in line.  I am sort of still waiting for the other bg shoe to drop though...

Still trying to figure out how to get the pix of the wedding from my phone to post here..

2.  Airdrop from iPhone to iPad & login with iPad & add or

Experiment with aerobic exercise / snack.
About 1 hr before the workout I had some nuts & cheese. Tested just before and I was at 106. Worked out on the tread mill and bike for about 1 hr. Tested 45 minutes later and I was at 93  ;D
So this worked for me.

And did you test afterwards to know if the downward trend continued & till what level.
