I went to the gym after a 2 day week end break. Sarge made me sweat real bad. Enjoyed the grueling workout session.

My ribs are really sore today.  I think I did a bit too much lifting yesterday when I grocery shopped.  :(

Take care bsg.
I didn't go to the gym yesterday. I opted for a road run. I think I did 5+ miles,  some of it walking, when I ran out of breath.
I have a newer wardrobe and I have only you guys to thank for it.

Grocery shopping gets increasingly difficult for us. I started using the motorized baskets this year, and BH has found them to be helpful too, so when we're in a store which has several carts, we each use one. But our biggest problem is getting our purchases from the car to the house - we need a motorized cart at HOME. More and more lately we take the perishables in, and leave everything else until tomorrow when we're more rested. I keep saying we need a butler to all these chores!  ;) And again I say, 'getting old is not for sissies . . .'

Boy, you have that right Shanny.  When I got home from the hospital at first I had to use a walker just to get from my bedroom to the bathroom.  After a couple of days I had improved and still needed the walker but I was able to drive and get to my doctors appointment.  Using a walker was an eye opener for me.  Some people will help you, like holding a door open, but to many you are just an obstacle in their way.  I have a new perspective on people that are dealing with difficulties in getting around.  I consider myself lucky that I am able to manage getting around now much better and while still not back to where I was I sure am happy to be as able as I am.  You really never realize how much you would be affected until it happens.

You aren't kidding Shanny!!  Grocery shopping exhausts me these days.  And sore ribs don't help.

I am not shoveling the snow...it hurts too much.  I may try a little tomorrow to make a path to the garage, but I'm really not planning on going anywhere!

Well, it is a truism for sure but I am rather fond of this quote :
