9,339 steps yesterday.  ~ cat ~ in hiding allows for more steps,
but I think I need to call the vet and maybe get some tranquilizers for him.

Poor Boo, he will be glad when the service people leave his domain.

5861 steps yesterday.  My knee was much better and I was doing great.  Went to town for a doctors appointment, picked up a prescription and then went to Walmart.  My habit is to put my cane in the shopping cart and use the cart for support if needed.  When I got home I realized that I had left my cane in the shopping cart.  That is the hazard of being able to get around without needing the cane, I set it down and then forget where I left it.  *sigh*  I have a walking stick and it works kind of but not as good as the cane.  I ordered another one on Amazon and it will be here today.

10,114 steps yesterday.  Poor Boo being in hiding helped the steps!

Wally, call Walmart, someone probably turned the cane in and the next time you go you can pick it up and have a spare.  I have left my purse in the shopping cart twice at the grocery store and both times people turned it in to customer service totally intact.  Now, I always put the purse in the car first before the groceries!!  Getting old is not all that it is cracked up to be! LOL

5561 steps yesterday.  Kind of surprised as I thought it would be higher.  I was not really keeping track but I felt just fine and made my 250+ steps every hour and some hours over 1K.  Not a big deal but I assumed that I walked more than I apparently did.
Yeah Barbara, I plan to check with Walmart to see if it was turned in.  I got the new cane yesterday so it would be a back-up and that is good.  I do the same thing around the house.  I set the cane down and then walk away and leave it, than when I want to use it I have to go on a search.   ~tnk~

7,830 steps yesterday.  Talking to two different contractors took a lot of time, then on the phone with the ins adjuster...  I will be so glad when this is all behind me!!

My right foot is slightly swollen, not sure what is going on there...

7193 steps yesterday.  Felt better so I was able to pick it up a bit.  I'm using the Stepz app on my phone along with my Fitbit and comparing them.  Most of the time they are very close if   I am able to walk in a "normal" manner.  Using the cane does not interfere unless my knee is really a problem and I have to lean heavily on it.
Barbara, I am sure you will be happy when it is all over.  It's never fun to be in the middle of repairs.   Hope the foot gets better.

9,285 steps yesterday.  Boo is still pretty jumpy, but hopefully with a weekend of quite he will settle down.  Definitely will call the vet Monday and see what she recommends.

Weather pretty steady, rain and thunderstorms Mon or Tues.

7,675 steps yesterday.  Had some  ~ cat ~ in lap time once he realized it was a quiet day.

There are several fires  around here, nothing close but the air tankers flying overhead are freaking Boo out.  Poor guy he just can't catch a break.

5110 steps yesterday.  Happy to just get to 5K.  My knee is funny, it is sometimes no problem at all and then later causes more pain or gives out.  Well, not gives out completely but I do need to have the cane handy.  I don't have an appointment with my orthopedic doctor until September so I will wait till then before deciding what to do.

Work starts Thursday with the roof removal, finished by Sunday.  He says indoor repairs should be done by the next weekend.  I am so worried about Boo and how he will handle the stress.
