Hi Folks,

I'm Julie, 40 years old, diagnosed just a few months ago. I'm a single mom to two beautiful girls. I have been reading the forum on and off for the past few days. I'm not much of a talker, so please excuse if I don't post much.
Thanks.

Julie,
Welcome you have just joined a group of fellow diabetics that will be happy to share our experiences and knowledge on any questions you may have.  To get started could you tell us more about yourself as it relates to diabetes?  What medications are you taking?  What was you most recent A1c?  What did you doctor and/or diabetic educator tell you to do to control your blood sugars.   Do you have a test meter for blood sugar and if you do, how often do you test.  etc. etc.

With this perspective we can give you our experiences related to what you are going through....

Welcome aboard, Julie, and thank you for joining us. I think you'll find answers here for questions you didn't even know to ask!  ;)

When I was first diagnosed, some of these very people helped me along on other websites, so now we've built this Diabetic Pub to gather all the best information in one place. So glad you found us! Visit often!
