Bsg you could make a note of where the dish is pointing now. It will come in handy if it is ever needed in the future.

93 (5.15) this morning.  Well, it was cooler yesterday but not a lot.  High temp was 78° (25.6°C) so down from the 90° of a few days ago but still quite nice.  It is supposed to be warming up a bit now but not too high for the next week or so.
@Tamagno, I am sure it is a real relief to finally get the feeding tube out.  Good news !

When the yard people were clearing up, they started cutting my lilacs.  Yikes, no trimming wanted there!!  I gathered the blossoms and now my house smells wonderful!!  Probably not helping the allergies much but it smells so good!!
Okay, now that is over-the-top! Professional yard crews must absolutely NOT start trimming plants that are BLOOMING! I've had guys take out my daylilies because unless they're blooming, they didn't know they were flowers. I've even had mowers take a pass over the irises, because there again, not necessarily recognizable if they aren't blooming.

I hope you were able to discuss with them the necessity of conferring with you before they take liberties like pruning trees/shrubs. Lilacs aren't a bush that even needs trimming, because they bloom on old wood. If people want to prune them back at all, it needs to be done right after their blooming season is over, and even then not trimmed back too far, or it can take years for them to get enough old wood going again to provide a good bloom.

Hallelujah! And a 'praise the Lord' too, because that means you're maintaining your weight without the tube!  ~100~   ~hug~

Yeah Shanny, as soon as I saw him cutting the lilacs I went out and told him to stop. He was kind of annoyed (I guess "*"is blocked) but stopped cutting at them.  I love my lilacs and they can take over any part of my yard they want!! I really don't like this company and hope the one the electrician recommended is better.

Great news Tamagno! Happy for you.

102 yesterday and today morning. We went mango picking at mango farms nearby and the kids had such a great time. It also made me realize that I am an outdoor person only if i am in midst of nature. Malls and crowded places drain me out physically and mentally. It was amazing to hear the peacocks. My daughter wanted to eat every mango on the trees.

185 this morning.

Thanks all! Not only is it out of my body but I can get rid of the pump and all the other paraphernalia cluttering the joint.

The lilac bush at our house has a special and protected place. Years ago when I built our deck, I actually built it around the lilac and with its own railing.

71 (3.93) this morning.  We got up to 80° (26.7°C) yesterday.  Really nice with a bit of a breeze and it looks like that will be the story for a while.
Lilacs were my Mothers favorite flower.  I always knew how to get on her good side.

bsg ~ I share your fondness for lilacs.  When we first bought our house in April 1970, we had no idea what the bushes were........until they started blooming several weeks later.  That is when we realized that our home is surrounded on three sides by lilac bushes.  I love them pure and simple and if I saw someone cutting them down, I would be doing an angry dance very quickly.  Hope you find a different lawn service that respects what you want.
