101 in the morning even though I was very careful with food. It's the sauces for sure.

Almost 60 this morning. Still a lot of leaves on trees and their foliage this year has proven pretty, but not the really spectacular one we'd anticipated with all the moisture.

Theories on the upcoming winter abound, ranging from severe due to all the critter activity to mild due to exceptionally broad bands of brown on the wooly bears. I'll wait until spring to offer my prediction...

90 this morning.  It looks like we will see a drop of about 15° starting Tuesday and then it will be in the low 70's and high 60's so it will soon be more "Fall like" in a couple of days.  It was 86° yesterday.

It is going to be cold tonight, 25°F  (-3.8°C) and 19°F (-7.2°C) on Monday night, so I turned on the heater under the house and in the pump house. Don't want anything freezing up!

My granddaughter Ariona left on Saturday night leaving behind a vast emptiness which is hard to fill. But then, Sunday was a true ketogenic day. I forgot to test today. Weight is 6 lbs up. Will go hard at our WoE and return to normal soon.

Did not test today. But was 110 yesterday.

skb- your granddaughter is gorgeous! I sometimes really feel overwhelmed with 2 toddlers and envy people with grown up kids. But can imagine the void you are talking about. I guess once you have kids, life changes forever.

I did a 10k run (i walked) conducted by one of the companies here. It was my first and my first medal. Took me 1 hour 45 min! A 10 year old completed it in 53 minutes and won. I realised that i can walk for hours together but running is not something that comes naturally to me.

@ ccd, I do the 2 kms from gym in about 15 minutes, but that's more of a jog or trot and not a run. Congratulations on completing the 10k. That is some resolve.

Well, I spent the weekend up in Placerville at a music festival so there was no testing - and it was way too hot.  But I really did work on cutting down my carbs.  Whereas last week in the afternoon I was in the 250's, just tested and am now at 154.

Starting with a 141 this morning, but the strips I have are particularly bad and my feeling is that the number should be close to 120. I have about a weeks supply to exhaust before I get a new box.

Bad strips can be very irritating. I had a few back when I was in Saudi. Not in Singapore. Hope they are not expired skb.

November is the month of birthdays in my family. My husband is taking his Fitbit thing very seriously and has also started going to the gym. Hopefully it will be all positive from here.
