Mr. 'Liver' is alive and well and working overtime!  My fbg this morning was 122 (6.7) and two hours later, even though I was late getting my breakfast this morning, my pre-breakfast reading was 193 (10.7)...which does not make me happy at all.   >:(

89 (4.93) this blue sky morning, 84 (4.65) at bedtime last night.

It only got up to 20°F (-6.66°C) today so not much melting going on here yet.

Alive and kicking, but I gave him a little something at 4 am to keep him busy. The result was a better 133 today. Still a long way to go.

116 today morning.

Going on a weekend trip in a few days. Kids are counting days and so excited!

92 today. I think the short workout at the gym helped.
CCD - Kids will indeed look forward to the outing. Hope you all have a great time.

That's only because I forget we have that software now! I'll try to get caught up . . .  :-[

187 this morning.

Kathy, I use a liquid called "Skin Tac" that I paint on my Dexcom adhesive pad once it's on. Seems easier to me than fiddling with tape although it does leave residue that's hard to remove, but I've got special cleaner for it.

Okay, here's a very weird episode:

I was out at a store yesterday and had to test. After I'd pricked my finger I gave it the usual little squeeze and blood splurted all the way onto my face. Actually had to clean it out of my beard before the salesman (fortunately diabetic himself) got too freaked out. Anybody else ever have that?

John,

I've personally never experienced that nor ever heard of anything like that. One question that comes to mind, are you on any blood thinners ?

79 (4.3) fbg this morning.

John - I've had that type of thing happen several times when I pricked my finger and squeezed it a little and it squirted clear across the table onto the floor.  I do take an aspirin every day so don't know if that explains it or not.

I don't use skin-tac because it is very difficult to remove even with the removers.  So I fiddle with tape and sometimes get frustrated.

91 (5.04) this morning.  A little storm front went through this morning with no rain here at all.  Possible chance for the next front coming through tonight and tomorrow.
Well, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow and predicts 6 more weeks of winter.  Hah !  It's only the first week of February, of course there will be 6 more weeks of winter.  That's just normal here.  Silly rat.   :D
@Tamagno, I have never had that happen before.  I do take an 81mg aspirin daily and that is the only blood thinner I use.  Maybe because I usually don't have to squeeze much to get a blood drop.  Just unlucky it had to happen when you were in public.
