An 84 last night & a much decent 114 this morning. Another reconfirmation of the fact that it takes 4 days to recover from a carb (mis)adventure.

Great numbers Vahit. Your numbers are shaping up very well.

I've got an 80 pre-dinner for 3 days in a row. The morning numbers as mentioned, vary slightly with time. 90 today morning as I checked as soon as I got up.

88 (4.88) this morning.  Still Spring weather, not quite as warm as predicted but still quite comfortable.  Monday I was buzzed by a humming bird so I put the feeder out and at first I only had the one but now I see two and it will pick up soon.  I really get a kick out of the little guys.  Still expecting a chance of rain next week and a drop in temp.

80 (4.43) this partly cloudy morning, 82 (4.54) at bedtime last night.

Saw the first robin of the season yesterday. Weather has been in low 50's (low10's) the last few day so quite pleasant.  My dirt road is still a huge mud puddle, hopefully it will dry out soon.

I was at 87 last evening and 122 this morning.

The Indian summer is in action on the western side. Temperatures are already touching high 30s oC during the day. In the north there's some rain in the plains while it is still a season for snow & landslides up in the Himalayan ranges.

89 (4.93) this morning.  Really nice day yesterday with a high of 77° (25°C) and a mild breeze.  Should be the same today and tomorrow then we are supposed to see a drop in temp and a chance of rain.  Interesting that the first day of Spring, Monday, is when we see lower temps and maybe rain.  With all of the rain we have had this Winter I am expecting a very good year for wildflowers although it is always hard to know as wildflowers are very hard to predict.  In the lower desert, East of San Diego and that area, they are already having a "Super Bloom" of wildflowers.  Here we are in what is called the High Desert and runs over 2000-2500 feet (610-762 meters) and the flowers come a bit later.  It could be quite impressive though.

103 this morning.  I've not been feeling well as I have the cold my husband had last week.  How nice of him to share, right?

Also saw two robins yesterday which means Spring is surely coming.

When faced with the threat of looming infection, we increase our omega 3 intake or take a couple of extra shots (small glasses not injections) of vitamin C. That keeps us safe till the infection is out of the house.

97 (5.37) this morning.  It looks like if we see any rain next week it will be Tuesday and Wednesday.  Anywhere from 30% to 60% chance depending on which weather forecast you want to go by, LOL.
I have an appointment for a MOHS surgery tomorrow morning for another skin cancer that has been canceled twice because I ended up in the hospital both times I had it scheduled before.  Hope that the third time is the charm.

62 this morning.  I'm so 'done' with this cold.  My nose is sore from wiping so often.  All I want to do is take a nap.

Wally - Best of luck with your procedure tomorrow and hope you heal nicely.

I'm wiping all year round because of allergies & I have to use 100% cotton handkerchiefs to avoid that sore nose . . . tissues just make it worse, even if they have lotion added to them, I guess because the bottom line is that paper - and that includes tissues - is made of wood pulp. In fact, because women's hankies are such small delicate little things, I decided years ago to buy men's hankies and then I crochet a lacy edging around them.  ;)

Never quite make the leap to the big ol' bandana handkerchiefs, but there were times I came close!  `8)

I don't know why I did it, but for the last few days I have been binge watching Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives on the Food Channel.  It is a bit of a torture as I can't eat any of those foods. On the other hand it was a good lesson in why eating out is so bad for diabetics. I watched a lot of shows and I can count on one hand the number of recipes that didn't include sugar/honey in them. So many you would never even guess were sweetened in any way for any reason. The lesson is, if you are going to eat out ask the server/chef if sugar is in the dish.

Thank you for the gentle reminder about cotton handkerchiefs.  My OWC has a pile of the bandana hankies, so I'll "borrow" one of his.  Some of his hankies are super soft as he won't let me throw any of them away even though some are quite thread bare.
