93 this morning.

It looks so much like rain this morning and yet nary a drop has fallen in such a long time.  We really need moisture.

The kitchen contractor came out last night to take final measurements and I was really disappointed that we don't have the necessary space to do several improvements we were hoping to do.  But the countertop is still on the 'OK' list so that's the main thing.  Don't know a timeline yet but hoping it doesn't take forever.

96 this morning.  Weather looks consistent for the next few days with plenty of sun and temp in the comfort zone.
Hope you are feeling better Barbara.  Yeah, it does really mess with your numbers.
Grammabear, yeah, room is a major thing to consider.  We did some major work and knocked out a wall and converted two adjoining bedrooms into one and gave a lot more room in the kitchen.  A lot easier to do when you do it yourself and it would have been a lot of $ paying to have it done.  Still, new counter tops and other changes make a new kitchen.   :D

88 (4.88) this lovely blue sky morning, 104 (5.76) at bedtime last night.

Sore throat is gone, but still stuffy/sneezy/coughing and it is trying to settle in my chest. At least fbg was pretty good this morning...

Work kept me away yesterday. I did not find the time to login.

The trouble with remodels is that they never end - one thing turning up another - and that kitchen remodel can easily find itself including new garage doors or something if I don't keep an eye on things. Last time we did it, I ended up with not only a new kitchen, but also master bath, sunroom and all new windows...

73 this morning which woke me way too early.  :(  Time to modify pump settings......again!

Yes I hear what you are saying John.  We did all new windows in the house last year, so unless something bad happens, we don't have to do that again.  I'm concerned that when the workmen actually start ripping stuff apart, that they will find new things that need fixing.  Time will tell.

101 this morning.  Feeling stuffy and kind of blah so that may be my problem.  I don't think it's allergies but who knows ?
Tamagno, yeah, a remodel can expose some things that need to be replaced including electrical and plumbing.  A lot depends on how old the house is and local codes.  My BIL laughingly called our house the Winchester house (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winchester_Mystery_House)
because remodeling went on all of the time.  We went from a single story, about 1200 sq. ft. to a two story about 3000 sq. ft. but that was over 20 years.

It's fairly suddenly gotten much cooler here with the temperature 20 degrees lower this morning than yesterday. I'm still not ready for fall, but there you go.

The temperature here is 51 deg F and by Monday it is supposed to be back in the 80s.  I sort of wish Mother Nature would make up her mind what kind of weather we're going to have.

84 this morning.  Weather here is pretty consistent.  We reached 88° yesterday and will be around there for the rest of the week.  Starting Monday it is supposed to drop about 10° and will be in the 70s and that is Fall here.  Really quite nice.

Yes, I checked it out on my IPad and IPhone and bookmarked it.  Looks like it will work just fine and at least I'll be able to keep in touch, at least if I have my phone.
