Hello everyone,

How are you all doing. I have been away from the forum for a long time. Will need to catch up with a lot of material before I put up anything.

Ciao.

98 this morning.  We didn't reach the predicted high temp. again yesterday but at 76° it was quite nice.  It is supposed to remain the same through the weekend then Monday about a 20° drop.
Thanksgiving dinner was very good, the bacon wrapped filets were great and I roasted Brussel sprouts for the first time and they came out really good.

107 this morning; back to normal!

Kathy, I use a small, angled insertion set. I'm still working out just where to put it and how to manage the tubing. Since the cannula goes in at an angle, knowing just how to insert seems to matter substantially, but I did it better this time. Also still playing with tape, hair, etc.

SKB, I was wondering a lot about sleeping with the pump but it "disappears" right away without seeming a hindrance. Dressing and undressing can be a little tricky, though, and thats where I got bolluxed up this go around.

Wally, those filets sound great!

90 this morning.

John - Inserting sets, whether angled or 90 degree straight in takes practice just like many other things.  You will soon be a professional at doing it.  For what it is worth, I have the uncanny ability to mess up insertions especially when I am in a rush.  Yesterday I messed up royally whilst putting in a set.  I was shocked to learn later that my bg was in excess of 300 which made me feel like rubbish.  It took better than 6 hours to get it back into range.

Had one extra drink last night. That helped me get to 103 this morning.

81 last evening and 94 this morning.

@skb, that one extra drink has helped me more often than not, but I find numbers go up immediately the day after.

128 this morning.

Our Thanksgiving dinner of turkey, etc. is today with our "posse." I'll not be cooking, so I'm basically free to enjoy the treat.

Kathy, I'm so sorry you had that episode; not pleasant at all!

Starsign, it's great you're back; I trust all is well?

Quite right, 119 today.

Didn't mean to be predictive. Just that, this is what I have seen.

79 last night before dinner and a 91 this morning.

97 this morning.

A pleasant dinner yesterday afternoon, however I'm ready for a normal day during which there's more quiet!

It'll be cold here today also Wally with the high predicted only in the mid 30s...

104 this morning.  Not unexpected.  I got some LC pizza crust from Netrition just to try.  I ate one, well, they are small, and afterward realized that a serving was 1/2 of a crust.  Oh well, also I didn't have to put as many onions and Bell Peppers on it but I did.  Interesting that 2 hours after dinner I tested at 91.  I can live with it to have a pizza once in a while.
Tamagno, I can't really call it cold here even though we are supposed to see about a 15° drop tomorrow it will still be in the mid 60's so cooler but not really cold.

94 (5.21) this cloudy morning, 97 (5.37)
at bedtime last night.

I've looked at those crusts several times Wally. Do they taste OK? No aftertaste?
