I'm tired of eating eggs for breakfast. I'm tired of cooking, period. What else can I eat without cooking?  :(

Yup. eating the same things day in and day out can be frustrating. Do you like Greek Yoghurt. It is full fat and makes a good replacement for eggs.
This is our GoTo drink for all occasions. It is quite LCHF, very filling and tastes yummy.

Hi cdncatlover,

May I suggest a Google Search for LC pancakes. Hundreds of pages will open up. Those are a good substitutes for eggs for those days that you feel fed up of eggs.

One of my best tricks is to bake up a bunch of bacon weaves & keep them in the fridge. Sometimes if I have a burst of ambition ( ;) ), I bake four or five pounds at a time, which gives us a huge pile of weaves which last many weeks.

Timewise

During the time I was working I traveled into Europe on business.  Breakfast in Europe is somewhat different than in America, although eggs are usually still available.  But, I learned to enjoy a plate of sliced hard cheeses and cold cuts of meat with celery or slices of sweet peppers....

Therefore, my main fall back now when home is cold cuts with slices of cheese.  I sometimes keep a bundle of cleaned celery and/or sweet peppers.....that I add.   A very nice breakfast it is...!

Good day cdncatlover ~

I'm glad you posted this question because there are days that I get tired of eggs also.

I read with great interest the post Shanny made about bacon weaves.  How does one store these bacon weaves in the refrigerator safely?....Over the Christmas holidays I used no less than 5 pounds of bacon when we had houseguests.  I literally could not keep a supply of it in the house.

Click the recipe link in my post; it shows a picture of the kind of container I use to keep them in the fridge . . . they'll keep a coupla weeks under refrigeration, and if you'd rather freeze them, even longer.

I knew they were a new thing back when I posted that recipe, so I included a coupla pictures so people could understand how to do it and how well they work.

Thanks for the links that explain things.  Judging from the popularity of the bacon consumed during the holiday season at my house, I will need a padlock on the storage box in the refrigerator.   ::)

Whenever bacon goes on sale, I buy a LOT, and that way we never run out, but we don't have to pay top dollar. And I never feel guilty about eating as much as I want, because it's a perfect LCHF food.
