Very interesting article skb, thank you for sharing.  On my husband's childhood home, they had wild blueberries and wild strawberries growing in their woods.  When you could find them, they were much smaller (about the size of a man's thumbnail) but oh so sweet and delicious.  IF you found one, you were considered to be very lucky.  The wild critters also knew where they were and found them first, especially bears.
