My son, who is in Atlanta for a short visit, sent me this. Anyone has any idea what this is or what are the contents of this pill ?

I'd be really leery of taking such supplements, and am here to remind you that supplements are not regulated in the USA anyhow. So there's no telling what they're made of.

This doesn't sound like a very good idea to me. Like they say - Two wrongs is not going to make it right.

This company has a lot of suspect supplement products.  Personally I don't believe in any of them but for more info here is the website :

Yeah, another one of those "miracle helpers". I doubt it would work. And it contains rice flour...yeah that's going to block carbs! I especially like the warning:

California Residents Proposition 65 WARNING: (State of California Prop 65) This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.

I personally wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole!

The company site says it will help delay the release of amylase, which consequently, will delay the breakdown of starches. Very much like the concept of Glycemic Index. We don't believe in the GI, even if it works. Then again all this browbeating is based on studies which may mean nothing.
