I don't eat bacon a lot cause of my hbp but this is a keeper! I love to cook and eat good food. I have a very physically demanding job and treat myself to something good to eat over the weekend. I've found this recipe about a year or so ago while looking for a different kind of sauce to go with dry sea scallops.

Is this your website, Skhilled? You're welcome to post your own recipes, but directing people outside of our site isn't something we encourage. Occasionally it's just plain more convenient, but try to avoid it if possible.

Skhilled,

I'd like to toss in something which might set you in a completely different path;

You can Google for Gary Taubes and also look at his site, New Science Initiative. He is a very well respected science reporter, and is author of several best selling books. Incidentally, there is an article written by him in our downloads section, as of now.

Sorry, shanny. No, it isn't my website. However, links to other websites will encourage outsiders to follow the backlinks to this site and may lead to new users. ;)

I do know that there are some that say salt has little to do with blood pressure. Personally, I believe most of mine is more stress related. That being said, I've always used a LOT of salt on my foods since my early years. Since I've cut back my sodium intake (and with medication) my levels are at normal levels except when I'm very excited or very angry/stressed. I argue with my doctor over this regularly. LOL
