77 this morning.  Only 3g of carbs total for yesterday so I guess that shows.  Just meat, eggs and BP coffee and I was good.
Tamagbo, I have to wear gloves doing a lot of things like hauling wood.  My skin is so thin that it tears and bleeds at the slightest scratch.

98 (5.43) this windy morning, 88 (4.88) at bedtime last night.

Windy today, but still mild. It got up to 50°F (10°C) today, very unusual Feb temp.

Hi folks,

92 this morning. BG control holding up.
Sorry for my frequent absence. Soon, I should be regular at the forum.
Hope everyone is fine and doing well.
My life is based on a true story.

105 this morning.

My CGM experienced episodic bouts of psychosis last night producing abrupt low alerts that kept me up at ridiculous hours. Oh well, I can always sleep later.

Our predicted snow yesterday came and went with only a few inches, thankfully. Still too cold for my taste!

I think today will be lazy. I've a couple of errands to run (boy, am I glad I have a great car heater) but otherwise quiet here with most all my chores already done.

Rocky, I hope all is well.

80 this morning.  It looks like our temps will be dropping about 10° starting Sunday and come back up on Wednesday.  A bit of wind but no chance of rain.   :(
Rocky, hope things are working out as you like.  Look forward to hearing from you.

106 this morning.

We have a 'Winter Storm Warning' which says we will likely be getting 4-8 inches of snow tonight and an additional 2-4 inches tomorrow.  A very good day to stay at home.

94 (5.21) this cloudy/windy morning, 97 (5.37) at bedtime last night.

It got up to 55°F (12.7°C), unseasonably warm. The black birds are coming back and I worry it will turn cold again and they will freeze up.

I always worry about the trees when we get too many days of unseasonably warm weather . . . if they get confused & sap starts to flow, they can't take too many years of such confusion before it affects their longevity. We've already lost two large oaks in our yard, and sure don't wanna lose any more.  :(

126 this morning.

I'll be going down to Yale this morning for an x-ray and check up with the surgeon who removed my cancer last year. Not something I'm at all looking forward to although I don't think there's any recurrence of the cancer.

Still very cold today but temperatures forecast in the mid-40s for the weekend.

86 this morning.  Weather here is pretty stable with only a slight chance of some rain Tuesday and Wednesday.  Elsewhere it looks like a cold and snowy storm from Montana to New England named Mateo will be causing havoc, when did they start naming storms ?
Tamagno, I understand your not looking forward to the check up but then I imagine it is a good thing.  Hope all comes out great.
Grammabear, try to stay warm.

Blood sugars are very unstable with this infection.  I had a huge spike up to 350 (19.39) and then it fell to 42 (2.22).  I will be glad when the infection is gone.

90 (4.99) this cold/snowy morning, 91 (5.04) at bedtime last night.

Yep, you are right Wally! About an inch of snow overnight, light snow on and off all day and is still snowing right now. Probably only about one more inch of snow total so far. I hope it stops soon or I am going to have to venture out to clear my TV dish.  :( High today was 25°F (-3.8°C), yesterday's high was 55°F (12.7°C) big difference!

95 this morning.

All is well with the surgeon except my weight which is very low. This, of course, resulted in threats of another feeding tube and subsequent spousal verbosity over diet and eating more carbs. Problems with food seem such a constant battle on all fronts no matter what.

Still, the good deal is that there's no apparent recurrence of the cancer! I'll take all the other affairs in stride so long as there's no more of that particular trial...

81 this morning.  It looks like we will be cooling down starting tomorrow for a few days.  Only about a 10° change and only a small chance of some rain.
Tamagno, well, it's good that there is no cancer.  I don't think it is necessary to add carbs to gain weight, at for me it just takes eating more.  Sometimes that is easier said than done.  I got used to very small portions and lost weight until I was too skinny a while back.  It took time to increase the amount I had at each meal but then I kind of over did it.  I am now about 10 pounds over where I would like to be so I am starting to cut back on the portions again.   ???
Barbara, yeah, when it snowed up on the mountain sometimes I had to go out about every hour or so to scrape snow off of the dish for my satellite internet.  For some reason, I think because of the angle here, the dish for the satellite TV did not collect snow.
Grammabear, it has to be frustrating.  Hope that you get well soon.

82 this blue sky morning, 87 at bedtime last night.

About 2 inches of new snow overnight, today's sun has melted a lot of it. High today was 32°F (0°C). More mild temps in the forecast.
