93 this morning (Snap, Rocky).

Woke early to low-ish glucose and decided to just stay up until it corrects.

Wally, I'm going for labs today as well and will also pick up the contrast fluid for CAT scan on Friday.

Happy birthday to your daughter, CCD! I bet you all are having a great time!

105 this morning.  I think I kind of over did it last night for dinner but "oh well"  :-[
No rain here but there was a fair amount of snow in the mountains.  That is good news.  The mudslide areas appear to have done OK but a stronger storm is expected Thursday.
Tamagno, that's interesting.  I have had 3 CAT scans and the contrasting fluid was provided by the hospital doing the scan and injected by the tech. doing it.

Wally, I've lost count of all my scans and their methodology, but somehow this one always requires a drink with glucose; it's not bad except for fasting beforehand.

Weather here is about normal for the season but at least for now there's no snow or rain.

Spent a good deal of time on the phone yesterday trying to locate a medical supplier that provides pump supplies and has a contract with Medicare and my secondary insurance.  It was really a frustrating experience, but I may have located one.  Now the waiting begins while they process my application.   :-\

92 this morning.  We did get some rain late yesterday.  I don't know how much as I don't have my rain gauge hooked up yet but it got everything wet.  Decent snow in the mountains so that is a good thing.  Another storm is supposed to be here late tomorrow into Friday and is supposed to be heavier.
Tamagno, I am sure it depends on what the scan is looking at.  In my case it was the heart valve that had been replaced.

Grammabear, I have such a supplier out of Texas should you need it.

I like the CAT scan place I've been using, Wally, as it's most always quiet and prompt. I'm hoping for the same this morning so I can eat right afterwards!

Thank you John for mentioning a 'supplier' possibly available in Texas.  I don't know how long it takes to process an application as I haven't heard anything back from them yet.

We have rain today, not that we need it as there was terrible flooding last week and the ground is still frozen.

99 this morning.  Again the weather guys can't agree so we have a 20-60% chance of rain starting tonight.  The biggest chance is for tomorrow and may go through Sunday.  Mountain ski areas are getting snow right now and expect it to continue through the weekend.  That is really welcome.
I got my test results from my blood draw on Monday and everything looks good to me.  Lipids are all in the normal range and my electrolites are all in the normal range.  That was what I was concearned about as it has been 6 months since my last tests.  I am still taking suppliments and it looks like that is still necessary.  My A1c on my last test 6 months ago was 4.7 and that surprised me but I decided to kind of relax a bit and expected it to be higher this time but it was 4.5.  I'm still a bit sceptical about the A1c reading but my 30 and 60 day averages on my meter kind of agree.
