This is probably true but mainly if people can get away from city lights.  Nowadays there is so much light pollution you can hardly see the stars but when I lived up on the mountain the night sky was truly awesome.

True Wally. I live kn the boonies, but my neighbor has a street light in his front yard which really takes away from my enjoyment of the stars.
