When the Gremlins attack, here's what I do;
1. I click 'More / Modify'
2. I Attach / Insert the picture again
3. I Delete the earlier attachment. It would show as a distinct 'id number' within the [attach] and [/attach] tags.

Yep, that's what I do, only I delete the earlier attachment first and then reinsert it from my Finder.

So I do: Step 1, then your Step 3, then Step 2. The whole box of the post is yellow after I repost and then goes back to white.

Only with a complete change it seems though. When I do a Quiick Edit to say fix a typo it doesn't turn yellow. Maybe because we use a different button for the edit?
