At my eye exam in May the optometrist found beginning Macular Degeneration in both eyes, which is common as we age.  She suggested that I consider taking the supplements that the AREDS study suggest.  I did start but wonder if it is really effective.  This article seems to back that up.
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.
